No Heart Left Behind

Share What You've Learned

This week, you and your coach will discuss what you've learned over the past seven weeks and your progress. Together, identify other women who would benefit from learning this important information.

Be an ambassador

Now that you’ve been a part of the No Heart Left Behind program, we hope that you will spread the word about women and heart disease. Encourage other women in your life to know the warning signs, assess their risk for heart disease, and take good care of their hearts.

Regular doctor visits and preventive screenings are important. Continue to make wise choices, adopt healthy lifestyle habits, and your heart will thank you.

Your activities for this final week:

  1. Identify an important woman in your life who would benefit from learning about women and heart disease, and tell her about No Heart Left Behind.
  2. Continue to record your physical activity. For your last week, go for the gold and try to meet the recommended goal of at least 30 minutes of activity, five or more days per week.
  3. Keep up your heart-healthy nutrition goal or select another goal to work on and keep track of how you do this week.
  4. Attend the COPP Keep Moving Lesson and Zumba Fitness Class (see schedule).
  5. Be sure to take the post-survey at the last class.

Weekly review question

Q: For women, what is a heart-healthy waist circumference size?

A: Less than 35 inches.

Congratulations!

You’ve completed all eight sessions of the No Heart Left Behind program. Great job!

We hope you've learned a lot about women and heart disease, and started working to reduce your own risk. We also hope that you will continue to adopt heart-healthy behaviors, and spread the word about this issue to other women.
