Loving Arms Parent Support Group
The loss of a baby is devastating for parents and families. Loving Arms Parent Support Group is one of the longest continuously running programs in the United States for parents grieving the loss of a baby because of ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth or newborn death.
It is common for parents who have experienced a loss to feel depressed, guilty or angry. To feel like no one understands, or that there isn't anyone they can talk to about their feelings. Loving Arms provides a forum for grieving parents to connect with other parents who have similar feelings, and to join a support network that includes nurses, social workers and chaplains.
Parents may come alone, or with a spouse, partner or friend. Come to talk, or just to listen.
Loving Arms usually meets the third Monday of every month from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m. Call 302-733-4367 for details.
