CLABSI Infections Data

One infection is too many. But even in the best hospitals, like ours, infections can still happen.

Below is the current data on central-line associated infections that have occurred in our system. At Christiana Care we track CLABSI infections in our intensive care units (ICU). At Wilmington Hospital, the intensive care unit, known as WICU, cares for both surgical patients as well as critical care patients and has nine beds. At Christiana Hospital we track CLABSI infections in several separate intensive-care units (ICU); the surgical critical care complex (SCCC), the medical intensive-care unit (MICU), cardiovascular intensive-care unit (CVICU) and cardiac intensive-care unit (CICU).
