When she returned to the United States, she became a kidney/pancreas transplant coordinator at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She moved to Christiana Care in 2008 to become a transplant coordinator. After completing her master's degree in nursing in 2008 at Temple University in Philadelphia and earning board certification as an adult nurse practitioner in February 2009, she was named to her current job. At Christiana Care, Ms. Edge provides social-work services to transplant patients and facilitates a monthly patient support group.
