Kidney Transplant Program

Set Up Your First Appointment

Here's how you can take advantage of the services offered at the Christiana Care Transplant Program:

  1. Ask your nephrologist, primary-care doctor or dialysis center for a referral. You also may refer yourself by calling our office.
  2. Once our office receives your referral, we will request your medical records from the various doctors who take care of you.
  3. One of our transplant coordinators will collect and review your records. If your information shows you are suitable for a kidney transplant, our office will contact you to set up an appointment for your evaluation.
  4. Our office will mail you a packet of information with directions and what to expect during your first visit with us.

If you need to change your appointment or get further information, please call the transplant center. Our transplant administrator, Geri LiBetti, is available to address any concerns you have.
