Residency Programs

Advanced Restorative Dentistry

This program will expose you to all aspects of dentistry related to restoring teeth that are damaged due to disease, injury or other dental problems. This further prepares you for private practice. Each resident is encouraged to treat patients requiring advanced dental work.

You will learn how to organize and prepare complex, multi-appointment treatment plans for patients in need of advanced restorative dentistry. The training includes:

  • Evaluating treatment options.
  • Discussing fees with patients.
  • Scheduling.
  • Managing time efficiently.
  • Selecting materials.
  • Communicating with the dental lab.
  • Keeping records.
  • Cosmetics and occlusal analysis.
